Federal Charm began as the brainchild of frontmen Nick Bowden and Paul Bowe in the summer of 2011, they wrote the basis of their debut album on 16 track recording unit playing all the instruments themselves.

Then when a recording opportunity arose with Jon Green at Ouija studios in Manchester, the pair recruited Danny Rigg and L.D. Morawski and to complete the line-up and the final recording of the album.

However, it was when the four men got in a room together to rehearse for the first time that they realised they had created an explosive vibe, and that the unique sound needed to be brought to a wider audience. Later the band were picked up by Golly Gallagher of GFI Promotions and Classic Rock magazine, who featured them in a full page spread of their first ever edition of ‘Classic Rock presents… The Blues’.

There’s is a sound unlike anything currently around. The band rediscover retro blues rock like Free and Led Zeppelin with a modern melodic twist that is totally original. The dual guitar partnership between Nick and Paul has become a main attraction throwing you back to the glory days of rock n’ roll.
